I'm a stacker !! Been a stacker for years... :biggrin2:
Maybe it's my room acoustics, or psycho-acoustics, but I disconnected the Santana II tweeters and it didn't sound as good to me so I reconnected them. I'm thinking that the Model 19's, with the crossover pots set in the optimum position, have a pretty flat response as seen here:

The Santana II's are rated at 45-20,000 hz +/- 5 db so hopefully with the crossover pot in the area marked "optimum" they have a somewhat flat response as well.

So hopefully when I'm playing both pair of speakers simultaneously, I'm getting a somewhat flat response since each pair on their own is "somewhat" flat.
Maybe I should bolt each 19 to a Santana II, take off the Altec badges, and attach Savard badges to them! (kidding)

You just received 20 lashes Dave for reposting those darn Savards ! :wink2:
As a favor, how about puting the Santana's behind your listening area and tell me how it sounds in fake surround sound compaired to 4 in front? I use to have my A7's arranged that way with my freind's PA twin 15's and fiberglass horn in a 25'x25' vaulted ceiling room and when sitting in the sweet spot, it sounded great.
edit; and as you alls know, I think and have always had a gaggle of Piezo tweeters on my Altecs. They need and deserve them because I have the need for more cow-bell.

Seriously, Dave every time I see your 19's I am just jealous. Those things look showroom. So nice! :Thumbs up:

These Savard's are like a bad penny, they keep turning up.
